Deal 1. £860,000.00 - April 2019
Axis was asked by a supplier partner to assist one of its clients (in the environmental energy industry) in funding an upgrade of software and associated licence package which was needed in order to design and manufacture new boiler systems.
Axis had to match the structured profile offered by the global software house and turn the deal around within days. Working closely with the supplier, payment was made within 24 hours of the documents being signed.
Deal 2. £94,000 - April 2019
Axis was asked to help facilitate the purchase of stair moulding equipment for a construction company which had secured new contracts. The problem was the equipment was being made in Italy and then modified in the UK by the British supplier.
The equipment had to be delivered to new premises which were not yet built. The deal was originally quoted in euros enabling the UK supplier to pin down pricing just days before Brexit which, as we now know, didn’t happen. Axis then arranged a three-stage payment facility enabling the deposit to be paid and the UK supplier to take delivery and make modifications to the equipment in a tight timescale.
